The weather is looking like rain may be on its way. The weather is looking like rain may be on its way. As a result, all Year 8’s please bring a jacket etc to the Moving On Conference held at Kuranui tomorrow.
Programme times including workshop times
8.50 Roll taken at school and then walk together as a group to Kuranui (if wet other transport arrangements will be made)
9.15am Registration desk opens
9.30am Conference Opening
9.40am Keynote address
10.00am Workshop 1 (1 hour)
11.00am Morning Tea
11.20am Workshop 2 (1 hour)
12.20pm Lunch
12.50pm Workshop 3 (1 hour)
1.50pm Wrap Up – Evaluations
2.00pm Conference finishes

Wairarapa Schools Virtual Kapa Haka Festival 2020

We are delighted to announce that the Wairarapa Schools Virtual Kapa Haka Festival 2020 will take place on Thursday 3rd December from 9.30am on Wairarapa TV – Channel 41.
Wairarapa TV also have a smartphone App that you can download to watch on the go too.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank Noise Productions Ltd, Masterton District Council, Carterton District Council and the South Wairarapa Creative Communities Scheme for their support of this event. It has been a privilege to travel around all our participating Wairarapa Schools to see the work, passion and excitement that has gone into each performance and I know the schools are excited to be able to watch themselves perform on television.
Wairarapa TV will also be repeating the event in the evening of Thursday 3rd December.
Please see a list of schools in performance order, timings for each school will be updated on REAP Wairarapa’s Facebook page when received.
