Due to the weather forecast for this week the year 5 & 6 camp will be postponed until the 2 & 3rd December.
We are sorry for any inconvenience this causes

Today we had a very special visitor to our school, Minister Chris Hipkins who made an exciting announcement for our school.

Hi Year 8 parents
Change in plans again, please spread the word.
Despite our best hopes, the weather is not cooperating with us. Instead, we have organised to take the Year 8’s to the YMCA gymnasium for inside fun activities with Beachy and his team today. We will then return back to school at 3pm ready for you to pick them up.
We will not be staying overnight tonight but we will be hopeful for tomorrow for Castlepoint etc. (If not we will have other activities for them to do.)
Children will leave their gear here at school in a locked classroom.
We appreciate all your support with these changes.

Tuesday 1st – Regional Athletic Sports

Wednesday 2nd  – Lip Sync Battle

Thursday 3rd  – PP Regional Athletic Sports

Monday 7th  – Moving on conference (All year 8’s)

Mon/Tues 7th and 8th – Year 7 camp

Thursday 10th  – Kōwhai Christmas picnic

Friday 11th – Reports home

Monday 14th – Celebration Awards 9.15am and Leavers Dinner (year 8’s only)

Tuesday 15th – Last Day of Term 4/End of Year  Final Assembly 12pm Kuranui College

 

Hi Parents/Caregivers,

due to the inclement weather forecast for this Wednesday and Thursday, we have made a call to postpone our Year 5 and 6 camp to next week Tuesday 24th and Wednesday 25th November when the weather looks far better.
