We were advised last night of a 3rd positive student case. Similarly to the one we advised yesterday, the positive test was picked up during routine day 3 testing and the student was already at home isolating.
The student was last at school on Thursday.
An email has been sent to the class affected.
As previously advised, please continue to monitor for symptoms and let us know if you have any concerns.

We have been advised that a second student has tested positive for Covid-19. The student was isolating at home and tested positive during the routine day 3 testing. The student was last at school on Thursday last week.
A separate email has been sent to the class affected.
Please continue to monitor your family for symptoms and let us know if you are isolating at home (as household contacts).
Again, if you have any concerns about Covid that we can help with, please get in touch.

Covid 19 Update
Kia Ora Koutou Katoa
Well I had hoped my first correspondence to families would not be about Covid! You will no doubt be aware that the whole country has moved to the Red Light setting on the traffic light system. This will bring with it some adjustments for the new school year.
The Senior Management team and the rest of the teaching staff will be working through those changes as they are advised by the Ministry Of Education and we will send out a more detailed update as soon as we can.
What we do know for sure is that school will start on Tuesday 1st February and we are excited to have all of the children returning for the new school year. I am really looking forward to getting to know everyone.
Please keep an eye out for more updates throughout the week.
Kind regards
