Grocery Grab Raffle Terms and Conditions

1. The Greytown School PTA Grocery Grab Raffle is being run by the Greytown School PTA on behalf of Greytown
School to raise funds for Greytown School projects and initiatives.
2. The Grocery Grab will be held at FreshChoice Greytown on Tuesday 22 September 2026 at 6.30am.
3. Raffle tickets will be sold for $5 per ticket. Total ticket sales will not exceed $25,000.
4. Ticket sales will open on Friday 14th August 2026 and close on Thursday 17th September 2026 unless sold out earlier.
5. Tickets may also be sold outside of FreshChoice Greytown during set times, by arrangement with FreshChoice.
6. Raffle ticket sheets and money must be returned to the Greytown School office (or received into the Greytown School
Bank Account) by 3pm on Thursday 17th 2026 September to be included in the draw.
7. Winners will be drawn on Friday 18th September 2026 using a random draw from all eligible returned ticket entries. The
draw will be supervised by an independent person of standing in the community.
8. Winners will be contacted by phone using the contact details provided and may also be announced through Greytown
School and/or Greytown School PTA communication channels, including social media.
9. If a winner cannot be contacted by 5pm on Saturday 19th September 2026 the Greytown School PTA reserves the right
to redraw the prize.
10. The prizes are:
1st Prize: Grocery Grab up to a maximum value of $1,000
2nd Prize: Grocery Grab up to a maximum value of $500
3rd Prize: Grocery Grab up to a maximum value of $300
11. The time limits are: 1st Prize – 150 seconds; 2nd Prize – 90 seconds; 3rd Prize – 60 seconds.
12. A $50 Fresh Choice voucher will be awarded to the Greytown School student who sells the most raffle tickets (not
including any sold outside FreshChoice in accordance with clause 5). Additional spot prizes may also be awarded.
13. Each winning Grocery Grab may be completed by up to two people: one person collecting grocery items and one
person pushing the trolley. The trolley pusher is not permitted to collect items or place items in the trolley.
14. If the winner is not able to participate themselves, they may nominate two people to take part. If the winner is a
child/student, a parent, caregiver, or approved adult must take part with them, or may take part on their behalf.
15. Winners must arrive at FreshChoice Greytown at the confirmed arrival time for a briefing before the Grab begins.
Participants must follow all instructions given by FreshChoice Greytown staff and Greytown School PTA organisers.
16. Items must be individually picked from shelves, bins, chillers, or freezers.
17. There will be a maximum limit of three of any one product. Any excess items will be removed before the groceries are
checked and valued.
18. Alcohol, tobacco, vaping products, Lotto, Instant Kiwi, gift cards, vouchers are also excluded from the Grocery Grab
regardless of the age of the winner.
19. Fresh Choice Greytown may remove any item from the trolley if it breaches these terms, is excluded, or is
considered unsafe or unsuitable.
20. All items collected will be checked and valued at the checkout after the Grocery Grab. If the full maximum value of a
prize is not collected within the allocated time, the prize will be limited to the value of the groceries collected during
the Grocery Grab.
21. Winners may personally purchase any groceries in their trolley that exceed the prize allowance
22. Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash.
23. Unsafe behaviour may result in the Grocery Grab being stopped immediately.
24. Winners and participants agree that photos and/or video footage may be taken during the Grocery Grab and used by
Greytown School, Greytown School PTA and FreshChoice Greytown for promotional purposes, including social
media, newsletters, and websites.
25. Greytown School PTA committee members directly involved in organising or administering the raffle are not eligible to
purchase tickets or win a Grocery Grab prize.
26. Family members of PTA committee members, Greytown School staff, Greytown School families and members of the
wider community may purchase tickets, provided they are not directly involved in administering the draw.
27. Entry details will be used only for the raffle, contacting winners, and meeting any record-keeping requirements.
28. Greytown School, Greytown School PTA and FreshChoice Greytown are not liable for any personal injury, loss or
damage to property sustained during the Grocery Grab.
29. Greytown School PTA reserves the right to amend these terms if required for operational, safety, legal or
FreshChoice Greytown store requirements.
30. By purchasing a ticket, entrants agree to these Terms and Conditions.
